Thank you for your interest in Action Craft Boats and welcome to our website. This introduction is to give you a little more information about Action Craft and the products we offer. Most serious shallow water anglers are already familiar with our boats, know that we have been around for decades and build a great product. Often, there isn’t a lot of selling that needs to be done. It’s that word-of-mouth advertising that sells our boats.
 
When you make a comparison, you will find that our boats are much more versatile than anything else in the shallow water fishing and bay boat market.  

About our Coastal Bay Boats: 
Unlike other bay boats, our Coastal Bay boats have a higher freeboard forward, so they can handle rougher sea conditions without taking a wave over the bow.  Fishing inshore, they will get you into a foot of water or less.  For even more safety, they have a foam filled fiberglass hull stringer system, making them completely unsinkable.  And, like all of our other boats, they feature our exclusive “Qui-Dry” hull design. Run Shallow or Run Deep, a Coastal Bay boat can do it all. 

We build nine models of flats boats and we have a model for every need. We have a great production team that takes care in the job they do.  We stand behind the products we build; with an emphasis on great customer service.  We offer complete packages with a long list of factory installed options such as trolling motor packages, jackplates, power poles and many other options that can be ordered through one of our dealers and factory installed. If you don’t have a local dealer, contact us here at our factory in Cape Coral, Florida and we will make arrangements for you. You pick the model, color, engine and other options.  Then we take it from there, building you a boat the way you want it.  Other boat builders offer their products one way, take-it-or-leave-it. Action Craft just builds the best boats, and that is the key to what has driven our success.  There is nothing else like an Action Craft.  Our exclusive and patented "Qui-Dry" hull design is both "Quiet" and "Dry", thus the name "Qui-Dry".  "Quiet" so you catch more fish, and "Dry", so you don't get wet.  Our designs have resulted from decades of fishing the waters of the Florida Keys, and listening to numerous professional guides for everything they want in a boat.  With our quiet hulls, we have virtually eliminated the hull slap which repels fish in shallow water.  You can get closer to fish than ever before.

When running in windy and rough sea conditions, we are there with the ability to offer the driest rides of any flats skiffs or bay boats.  The secret is in the unique shape of the bottom, hull strakes, and chine, which deflect all the water coming off the bottom while running, into a sheet with downward flow, not spray blowing over the top, and in your face.  This is appreciated even more, in cold weather.
 
For decades, we have never stopped taking the best and trying to make it even better.  In our 27 years of building Action Craft boats, we have developed and refined some of the most technically advanced, most serious fishing machines on the water today.  There are real, tangible, benefits resulting from our designs that the competition just can't match.  Action Craft is first in comfort too.  Our modified vee hulls cut through a rough two to three foot chop while providing a smooth, dry ride.  Our "In-Cockpit Bench Seat" offers the serious back support you need to be more relaxed and comfortable with extended running over long distances.  When you stop to fish, the back rest with its unique articulating three-piece stainless steel hinges, (another Action Craft innovation) folds-down-flush, and out-of-the-way.  It provides a smooth and flat extension of the aft casting deck, with nothing left in your way to possibly trip over. These are only a few examples of what we put into our product.
 
There are lots other nice looking boats on the market, but when it really comes down to practicality, versatility, and comfort, they don't measure up to the Action Craft.  The business is still owned by the Guard family, which started the company in 1982.
